Chilean woman signed to a professional contract abroad

She left Chile in 2009 on a full football scholarship, finishing a business degree in the United States while playing college football and winning a championship along the way.

From there came Germany, Japan, Lithuania, the Czech Republic, Cyprus and Australia. Almost two decades with the Chile national team ran alongside it, and in 2018 she scored the goal that carried Chile to their first ever World Cup.

She now lives in Adelaide and coaches on both sides of the Pacific, running programs in Australia and Chile.

Two continents, two of the hardest competitions there are

Champions League in Europe. Copa Libertadores in South America. Two of the toughest competitions in the world, on two different continents.
